Jika Serrano

Jika holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a major in Painting from the University of Santo Tomas in the Philippines (2017). Although her background is in Fine Arts, she chose healthcare because she wanted to do something more meaningful, and loves knowing that her work contributes to improving people's health and well-being.Jika chose St. Agatha for its commitment to providing the highest quality care to patients. Even though she works behind the scenes, she's proud to be part of a team that truly helps the people it serves.Outside of work, Jika is a self-described hobby collector. One day she's teaching herself to knit, the next she's crafting, scribbling, repotting and propagating plants, or baking. Jika unwinds with long walks and photos of her surroundings, a good book, and the occasional crime docuseries binge. She comes from a family of four and grew up surrounded by cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents, and friends she considers family. A bowl of sinigang and rice, extra sour with a spicy kick is her ultimate comfort food.
