IN-HOME WOUND CARE

Those that are dealing with chronic diseases such as vascular issues, anemia, diabetes, or autoimmune diseases may have a harder time recovering from wounds. Because time that wounds need to heal is extended with these complications, it can be difficult for an individual to care for themselves and still avoid infections or skin break down.

Affordability of In-home Wound Care

Typically, in-home wound care is more affordable than requiring a medical professional’s treatment, who may be qualified in much more than wound care and costs more as a result. At-home treatment helps older adults recover conveniently under the care of a Registered Nurse.
Coordinated Physician Wound Care and Progress Tracking

Knowing that doctors sometimes need a full record of how wound healing is progressing so that they can act accordingly, our Registered Nurses are fully prepared to assist. Our RNs can take digital photos of the healing process on our clients’ camera device which they can share with their physician to keep them up to date.
Our Registered Nurses can also coordinate with physicians to ensure that any necessary treatment, diet, or supplements that are needed for the recovery process are followed accordingly.
Wound Treatment Prevents complications like infections

Aside from other illnesses, it should also be noted that in-home diabetic treatment prevents other wound complications such as major skin infections and other-related issues.
